Boulder Opals - Science & Legend

When scientists talk about Boulder Opals, they explain that in areas of Australia some long, long time ago weather conditions trans-formed silica into liquid.  That silica liquid ran down through the soil settling in the crevasses beneath the earth's surface.  After the silica liquid became settled in those crevasses, the molecules started evolving.  Though scientists have yet to explain conclusively how, thousands of years later we've called them Boulder Opals.

Aboriginal legend explains that one day the Creator came down to Earth on a rainbow road bringing the law of Peace to humanity.  Everywhere the Wise One's foot touched the earth, the ground sparkled, Earth came alive with all the colors of the rainbow and Boulder Opals were born.

Whatever you choose to believe, these stones are recognizably Art.  I invite you to see what I see, or better yet to see what you see.  I invite you to witness The Messenger stones . . .
