If I want to remember a film I watch it "closed captioned" in English. You'd think that would mean that I'd watch a lot of foreign films. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are very few films I find worth remembering. I tend to watch documentaries with closed captions, sometimes even with the sound off, just so I can consciously learn.
