People don't understand how I see. If I get up right now, deciding I'm ready to go out, if I look in the mirror, I might appear to be ancient. I'll see beyond those wrinkles and sags, wondering what happened. AND when I come back from the store, I might see another me, she'll be different for sure, older, younger, fatter, thinner, different and I say to myself, "yep, that one's not real either." People want to blame that on "self-esteem" issues and that is simply not true. I don't recognize myself in pictures either, I find me, if it's not obvious, by what I remember wearing. Don't worry, I can recognize everyone else, it's my own face I don't know.
