City Hurl

From "Autism the Musical", before performing one of the children said so profoundly I played it again and again:  “I think I’m trying to hurl.”

I so understood that statement, when I’m in the city, any city, that’s
exactly how I feel, like I'm "tryin' to hurl".  People and people, lights, sounds, concrete echoes, building after building, after house after house, after store after store after after after in the now Now NOW . . . it's almost beyond overwhelming.  My brain can't digest it all, not all at once . . . sometimes my brain literally screams at me, "Hurl.  Hurl.  Hurl."  Ah, the Amydala.

A lot of people believe that what backs our “money” is gold or at least
something of some kind of intrinsic and real value.  What really values money is the collective belief that money has value; that it has to have value.  Put that one in your wallet for a second . . . I’m not kidding.

My term “firewood forest” is based on what I consider the responsible, positive understanding of my inability to create the proper stacking pattern for firewood.

I have decided that within the tree’s transition, my logs wish to be in a more natural formation. I considered using the word “pile” and I decided, that pile, while arguably an adequate term for the formation existent in my yard, it did not acknowledge my gratitude for the transition of wood to ash, keeping me warm. It’s not a pile that keeps me warm at
night; it’s a forest.

I remember exactly my first lesson in “meditation”. What they called a “meditation” session was really an exercise in guided imagery and that made no difference to me, certainly not during that summer camp.

All 120 of us campers were sitting on the floor of the recreation hall where a woman was talking to us about having the ability to meditate, to relax. I listened intently, as intently as I could. At 12, I was sitting next to the boy I knew I would love for the rest of my life. Soon, we were all lying down on the concrete while she talked us through the exercises of relaxing our bodies. Everybody relaxed. You could feel it. I could feel it.

She asked us to imagine ourselves a stick of butter on a hot summer day, she told us all to feel ourselves melt into the floor.  I actually became that stick of butter, melting as if I was in a microwave, that quick, right into the floor. My eyes flew open in abject fear right before I had
entirely melted my stick butter self into the floor and I laid there waiting for the “meditation”
to be over. My fascination with the power of my mind had begun.

Note to Indigos especially, to Indigos specifically:  The aura is
an effect, not a cause.

And . . . ipso facto, auras are dynamic, always changing . . . trust me,
being an Indigo is not a birth right bestowed on you for a lifetime, it’s an earned right and you must be the one to hold that right real . . . aura fields never lie.

In the South, I don’t know if it’s everywhere, if someone has the “rudeness” to ask if you like something that you’ve obviously not made a positive comment about, you’re allowed to comfortably lie telling the truth with
meaning:

Imagine how ridiculous you would feel when you recognize that your target audience is smarter than you are . . . by far and away smarter than you are. You just laugh.

Laughing,

I wrote: “His first kiss allowed me to know that something I thought real, is real.  It is beyond real, it is true. He knew it and I knew it.”

I could expound for hours, for days, for years, and that’s enough said.  Although, if you’re reading this, I’ve done little except expound on that for
the last 25 years of journals and diaries.

For a while I secretly believed that clowns knew they were scary. I thought
they were trying to be funny because they really were scary. That seemed
irrational to everybody. It made more sense to me when I understood what being an empath meant.

The first clown I saw was scary. More and more I believe that there was a reason to be scared of that clown.  At six, I didn’t understand it might just be that one clown. All the clowns, even clown dolls were heaped together in my mind. Now, thankfully I have recognized that not all clowns are the same.

Moral of that story: If I hadn’t let all clowns off my first clown hook I’d have missed the performances of Cirque d’Soleil. I’d have missed Patch Adams.

Enlightenment is not about love; it’s about the absence of fear.  Some people can say “I’m fearless”, that’s not the same thing, not at all.
